Minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday 30th April
from 3.00 to 5.00p.m.

Minutes from the last AGM (17th April 2024):
The minutes were summarised by the Chairperson and there were no issues arising.
Constitutional issues:
Confidential agreement forms were signed by all present.
The use of the title ‘Clinical Commissioning Group’ in the Constitution was replaced by ‘The ICBoard’. All members present were given a copy of the updated Constitution (April 2025).
Election of Officers:
No nominations were received by the Secretary prior to the meeting. The Chairperson invited expressions of interest from members for various roles. No expressions were received. The Chairperson offered to continue her role for the coming year, as did the Vice Chair and Secretary.
Tina Bailey wished to step down from her District Representative role and the Chairperson invited people interested in taking on this role to contact her.
Chairperson’s Review of 2024/25
- There were 3 meetings held during the previous year.
- There was one resignation and 4 new members during the year.
- Representation at District Meetings continued. The online PPG Forum is led by the Patient Experience Group.
- YAPP Group was represented at the Yoxall Village Fete in summer 2024.
- A second Health Event was held at Barton Village Hall and received very positive feedback from exhibitors.
- A working group was established to align the Health Centre Policy with the YAPP Constitution.
- Information circulation (the Health Centre Newletter, information screen and YAPP noticeboard) was discussed at length and will be the focus for the next meeting. The need to streamline communication to patients through a coherent Communication Strategy was identified.
Practice Manager’s Update.
- The ECG machine has broken and will be replaced along with training for staff use.
- Dr Hassan is still absent. Difficulties with the appointment booking system were attributed to the uncertainty around his absence.
- A new Receptionist has started.
- There is the continuing absence of one member of staff in the Dispensary.
- Two NHS App ambassadors will be offering bookings for patients needing help to use it.
- In September, booked open appointments for patients with Winter health concerns will be offered.
Discussion – The NHS App and issues arising
There was agreement that there were numerous issues and technical difficulties arising from the NHS APP. It is hoped that the 2 NHS APP ambassadors will help to alleviate some of these.
Upcoming Events
- Yoxall Village Fete -Saturday 28th June 1.00 – 4.00p.m.
- CPR session at the Village Hall on 12th August at 6.30p.m.
- Men’s Health Event – possible location – The Golden Cup.

There was no other business.
